The moderators of the Best Practices forum and I are glad you enjoy the free search engine discussion forum. When I started this forum in 2001, I never dreamed it would be this successful.

We are all very proud to have helped so many website owners achieve exceptional results in the search engines.

From being a website owner yourself, you are very aware of the costs associated with operating an online business. Forums are a little different.

This forum requires:

  • special (expensive) software,
  • my own server capable of handling all the bandwidth,
  • a paid administrator for upkeep and changes,
  • and many other requirements.

I pay for these expenses out of my own pocket.
Why? Because it has always been my goal to keep the forum 100% free. I never wanted banners or any other type of paid advertising on the forums. However, with the increase in costs, it is getting more and more difficult.
