My graphics art parrtner has just come up with a completely new font for our site which I believe gives a better image of what our invention is about.

Previously we had the title in a **** font in Times Roman which I felt dated it to the early 20th century and the Imperial Typewriter.

However, I would appreciate opinions on the new font from members out there

Sorry but I am unable to set it up in the forum page (as Deb seems so adept at doing! :) ) so you will have to click on my index page to see it.

Thanks in advance :)

Hi Greg,

It looks good, but I think the designer is going to have to redo it a bit. On my sharp monitor, I can see all kinds of fuzzy stuff around the edges. It appears that it may have been saved a few too many times, and each time it was compressed more and more. If the designer has the original photoshop file, he/she should be able to save it with some higher quality to it.

Thanks for that Jill. As to the fuzzy edges
they are being worked on. That is partly my responsilility though really, as I have always insisted that graphics be reduced as much as possible in the interests of faster loading time.

The image was reduced down from over 30k in its original format to its current size of 7k.

What I am interested to hear, however, are people's impressions of the "Style" of font as compared to Times.

I dont think many people will pay much attention to the font, as long as they can read it, it's information theyre after right?

You also need to save your title in gif not jpeg format - gif for low colours jpeg for high.
