Yes. You are in the right forum.

You have to pay Looksmart's fee to get listed. Either $199 or $99.

The Inktomi spider will update your tags the next time it comes around.

BUT, you will probably not get good ranks cause your not in Looksmart yet.

Also, the meta tags are not that important anymore. Content is king and you have to have it ON the page for ranks.

Looksmart editors do list sites they might find on their own. This is a very long shot. You cannot tell them to find you.

This happens rarely that a site gets in for free. You Have to be a non-profit with the correct paperwork in order to get listed for free.
