Backlinks and toolbar pagerank have been updated on -cw (216.239.57.100) datacenter and it seems quickly moving to other datacenters aswell.
I don't see any changes in SERPS though. Again it seems only PR toolbar presentation has been updated only and not the real PR used for rankings.

Yes, I'm seeing this too, no change to the SERPS, but backlinks are changing.

It's only been just over 2 weeks since the last change I saw to our backlinks!

Tyler, how are you judging the PR change for the toolbar on the www-cw datacentre - are you making changes locally to your DNS/hosts file to get your machine to use it's equivalent in the www-cw datacentre?

Is google set up this way? What server name does the toolbar get it's data from, and are there equivalents of this server for each datacentre (if they exist)?

If so, this may be a way to see what the general public will see soon - on the whole, useless, but if you can tell a client that the PR on the toolbar will go up in a couple of days for their site to PRx it might seem impressive. (might also be wrong!!) ;)

You all know that clients can sometimes be a bit obsessed with PR!

p.s. You noticed that the 'guessed' PR for the forums when you're reading the posts has gone from PR0 to PR2 - means nothing much to those pages, but no doubt something to somewhere else in Doug's site!
