On AltaVista's Frequent Questions From Webmasters page, they are recommending other sites to visit for further info, including Rank Write! (Nice one Jill - did you know about this?) Have a look here: http://help.altavista.com/search/faq_web#10
Note they are also recommending the AV forum at the farm. Doug, you should email them and ask them to put a link to this forum! With all the AV bashing going on in here lately, I'd love to see them do it :green:
