Im new here , hello! I think google will do a continuous juggle with monthly back link and cache refreshes from hence forth. What do you think?

Welcome to the forums! :hi:

That sounds kind of like what they seem to be doing. I don't suppose it matters much, though. Or at least, we can't do anything about it, and it won't change anyone's strategy.

I have to agree. I'm pretty sure that's google ultimate goal... to have a "rolling update".

Hi seotactics, welcome to the forums! :hi:

That description fits what I've been seeing. It appears that the PR approximations that Google is applying until the backlink and PR update are pretty good too, becuase there was very little fluctuation during the last backlink/PR update.

Of course, the data may possibly be updated in real time and it is just the reporting mechanism that needs monthly updating....

The real challenge, if they want to do constant updates, is to come up with some reasonable approximation of PageRank "on the fly." Even one link added to a single page can change the PageRank score for many thousands of pages.

Even if they can do some kind of reasonable approximation that works, if it strays from from the "true" values over time, so they'll probably still need to do some kind of periodic recalculation of PageRanks.
