I apologize if this has already been discussed, but I attempted to read all the log stats type threads since the beginning to see if it was covered.
I am looking for an asp based log analysis program or set of scripts to parse server logs from a windows 2k web server. It doesn't have to be extremely fancy, and it doesn't necessarily have to track the user all the way through the site (although that would be a bonus). Keyword tracking...again a bonus but not necessary.
It MUST however, show visitors, unigues, and bandwidth...
Can anyone recommend anything for me to look at.
I currently use awstats and it isn't too bad and fairly easy to get going....HOWEVER, I am trying to find a non-perl solution. I have also looked at web trends and sawmill, plus a few others that I can't remember their names...and if I had to choose from them I'd probably go with sawmill as it seems to be very feature rich and easy to set up sites etc...but I don't care too much for the cost as I need something for numerous domains.
PLUS...I want something that is asp based. It's fine if it is access, or sql as long as MSDE would fit the bill.
Also, I won't even look at anything that I have to place any code on each page...I am only looking for something to analize current server logs.
Can anyone point me in the direction of something to look at?
