What do you think of this strange Adwords I found yesterday?

Clicking on that gave me simply the Google.com page...

That's an image file someone made. I don't know what to make of it other than someone wanted to show the image of something to somone else.

misconception. I made the image. (and I must admit that i do not know how to include images in the post...).

Just check the adwords at the bottom right. it is a rather weird one and the link to it was to google...

I just performed the same search on Google and saw completely different adwords (and much more of them) than what you had in the image. I also searched on each word of the phrase individually and failed to find that result. Perhaps someone was just testing the system.

Not necessarily, Bernard. In Adwords, advertisers can specify which countries they want their ads to appear in. Then Google only shows them in those countries. If I'm not mistaken, Basielios is in Greece, so he's seeing ads from advertisers who specified Greece as a target. The ads you saw (I ran the search and saw them too) probably have specified US but not Greece.

That said, I have no idea what that advertiser is trying to do. Maybe Google is running some kind of test or something.
