Need Uk directories suggestions

Any decent directory in Uk that is not a crappy collection of espotting/overture and affiliate links?
Am looking for quality general purpose and shopping directory. No PPC, no mandatory linkbacks.

I wouldn't really bother with the above list of directories.

The BBC which is huge in the UK is powered by Inktomi.

In terms of directories the best for the UK market are:

Looksmart.co.uk
Lycos.co.uk - which still has a directory - although Fast is the database for the search engine side of things
Yahoo.co.uk - which was the best but has seriously suffered from all the changes over the last year. It seems to change monthly.

Dull I know but the rest, well........

Mirago was one of the first UK-based "directories" with rigged results.

Are they going straight, now?

A couple more UK directories I use are:
Great British Pages - www.great-british-pages.co.uk and
Searchuno - www.searchuno.co.uk

I think Mirago are more of a search engine than a directory and they also do PPC.
