New Look & Features

We have a new design & layout on the index page. Over 2000 new categories are now in, and when you do a search, the category shows up under the result.

Each category page now has a listing of how many sites are indexed into that category now too. We have some other new things that will be in later on today.

We will begin accepting submissions again on Monday. The editors are getting used to a brand new Dashboard.

Do you mean the featured sites (top box) and the sponsors (bottom box) are out of line with one another?

I have my monitor set at 800x600 and it's even for me. I'll take a look at a higher res in just a bit, and if it's off, I'll fix it.

Football, under Sports and Recretion, shows 10 in parenthesis but inside the category there are no entries. Where did that (10) come from? :confused:

There's actually 10 sites listed in that category. They're just being shifted to the proper category since the restructure. So, they are technically there but just not in their correct new category yet.

Over the next few days the editors will have lots of "current" sites that need to be re-assigned their new category ID numbers. They just were given the new dashboards yesterday afternoon.

LOL! Steve, what you're seeing there now is from the last design update I did. That was our second one. We're getting ready for the third one and it blows the other ones away. :)

This new design and layout has been a lot of work and as soon as it's up, you'll see why. ;)

Just curious, but when will your site be ready for submissions? I see that you don't have any real estate listings under Nevada, so we'd love to be the first ones. NO PRESSURE :) I'll be checking back or pm me if you want when its done and I'll submit. Good luck with your site.

Hi Crichey, It'll be just a few more days and we'll have things open again.

I've been working on a very large update (code-wise) and all of our editors have been working very, very hard getting our queue caught up. They've all done some amazing amounts of work in the past few weeks. :)

As soon as the submission page is up, you're welcome to submit. :)

The sponsors section's content box is offline from the boxes in that column.. (box above the text "Index size:....."). I am using 1024x768 screen resolution.

That's OK, Sri. :) LOL! Yeah, this is a waaaaaaaaaay old thread. As soon as I'm finished with what I'm working on right now, we'll start a new thread to cover everything that's been done in this update, as I'm sure there'll be a lot of questions. :)
