Is this the right forum to post questions on making one's site more accessible for people with disabilities. If not, is there a forum here.where it is okay to post such inquiries?
Does anyone know of any relevant forum anywhere on the Net?
Hoping everyone had a great new year and a prosperous year.

Hi Mayapple,

This forum does not deal generally with accessibility to those with disabilities. However, if you have questions about software/scripts or the like that will help those with disabilities use the Net better, you may want to post your question in the technology section. Someone there may be able to help.

I'm sorry, but I don't know of any particular forums that deal with these issues. Surely there must be some around. Perhaps someone else here may have heard of some.

Anybody have any ideas?

Hi Copywriter and Bernard.
Bernard I appreciate your help. The url however didn't open for me. There's always doing a search on accessibility issues here.
Copywriter. Appreciate your quick reply to my question. I looked for technical in the forums. Didn't see it. Is it under a different name? Could you please let me know what forums are either above or below it. That is of course, if you have time to look. I understand this is a forum for rather busy professionals and I realize you may be too busy.
Happy Promoting!!!

Hm... if the link didn't work for you, I'll have to give you a map to that thread...

From the home page of the forum, go to
Miscellaneous Search Engine Information, then
Web Page Content and Copywriting
and look for a thread called
"Fed Up - SEO Without Usability"

Mayapple, do any links from any forum threads open for you? Perhaps you are blocking the opening of new windows? This forum opens links in posts in new browser windows for IE.

I know I am a bit late in congratulating Karon (Perhaps because of time difference America-India;)
Anyways Congrats Karon.
I think Karon you would be moderating the most important aspect of Website Promotion and Optimization- Content Writing and Copywriting

Sorry! My bad. I think the other suggestions would lead you in the right direction.

Also, I just sent an email to a friend of mine who may know of some forums. I'll let you know if she finds any.

OK, mayapple... my friend Viki at Mount Evans Designs said you should be able to find what you need at this forum. (http://www.w3.org/)

Hope it helps!

This is the link I have in my favourites about the subject:
Web Accessibility Initiative (http://www.w3.org/WAI/)

You should find some more information there that may help you.
