Google backward links

A website I'm looking into has no backward link (according to the google toolbar) to the ODP entry for that site. I have confirmed that the ODP entry exists and the url is OK.

What frequency will google refresh links to ODP or is there another reason for the "missing" inbound link?

Google are taking many months to update that information.

I guess that it might not show up for several more yet.
