I guess things are starting to jump around a bit & it's too premature to freak out. We were one of the luckier sites to make it thru Florida ok, and now things seem to be changing again. Strangely, our PR went from 4 (while we were doing well) to 5 in the last day or two and our site is now nowhere to be found on our strong keywords...ie. on "waiting room toys" we were #3 to #7 depending on when you searched, and now we're nowhere to be found. Logs show a definite decrease in traffic. This is the case with several other keywords too. Guess that bolsters Doug's opinion of PR and its importance vs. SERPs.
Anyone else experiencing this in the last day or two? I'm trying to postpone my worrying just yet. Can't afford the wrinkles!

I'm seeing the same as Kelly does.
For some pages of my site, PR went from 4 to 6. For others it went from 3 to 5.
At the same time, i'm nowhere to be found anymore, but only for those keywords that are exactly the same as the page name. Other keywords are still doing well.
The Florida update didn't affect non-english websites but this one does.
I hope it's too early to draw any conclusions.
So far, it's as if google is raising some kind of penalty on keyword rich page names.

Still no changes here that I can see.

I was completely decimated in this update. I added coherent backlinks, etc. If anything my SEO work should have improved the ranking, but now all of my sites have dropped from the face of the earth, with competitors either taking small drops, or nothing at all. How can they tell us "don't be evil" when they randomly behead the innocent?

Glad to know it's not just me then. Misery loves company. I'm still going to wait it out, even though it's been dismally unchanged for a few days.

Same thing happened for one of my client's sites. The site made it through Florida unscathed, and ranked extremely well for competitive keyword phrases. I was shocked yesterday when I ran a ranking report and found it had disappeared. Checking the rankings, I noted that the results were extremely different for those keyword phrases.
Hopefully this problem is resolved shortly.

Hi!
Yeah I also passed florida update without much effect on my rankings but last week or so its been tough. Site nowhere to be found.
Hoping that things improve. I am seeing that sites having multiple domains linking to the same page and sites using hidden text doing pretty well.
Really Dissappointed!

i have two customers who sell used cars who have similar or same search terms. One of them is a huge international firm while the other is quite small and national. a few day ago (last weekend) all of the pages of the small firm droped out of google while the pages of the international customer eaven improoved!
I used very similar techniques for both customers.
I have heard that google favours big brands, but is it realy that important/relevant!?

We had a real estate client who was clobbered by Florida, but has recently popped back on the first page, thankfully. Also, we've left all the competition in the 300s, but these are some obvious spammers. So in this case, the spam was filtered, so I could argue that Google is better (?) than before, but only because my site made it back onto the first page.
There are still a lot of off-topic results though.

Interesting and good news here (for me anyway)....I too, had disappeared from anywhere near the top 10 for my real estate site back in Oct-Nov. or so. I literally was nowhere to be found when I had been one of the top 2-3 sites in my industry.
All of a sudden, I am back right where I was before...
It is my understanding that certain sites such as personal real estate sites were harder hit than others.
I am hoping that the rest of you hurting right now will be "back in business" soon too.
If anyone has any comments on why real estate sites may be back, I would sure appreciate it. I haven't seen any recent threads pointing directly to my particular industry and the latest changes involving it.
Thank you and good luck.

Its true that all real estate related sites were hit hard in the last 4 months. Why? I don't know. At one point a while back, Goguides stopped allowing personal sites for real estate agents and brokers in the directory, saying they only wanted Agency sites.
Could Google have given preference to Agency sites and dumped any personal agent sites? Most of the results appearing right after Florida were for real estate related portal sites. Agency sites were few and far between.
My guess is it was an attempt by Google to get rid of all spammy results for real estate related terms. But they had to dump everything to make it work.
