I am looking for a way to allow non techie webmasters to display our RSS feed, like some javascript to copy and paste.
I found some services like www.feedroll.com that generate such code, but the parsing is based on a 3rd party server. Is this service reliable?
Are there some very simple scripts (not php) that we can host?

I have been looking for the same type of thing (php is OK), but for the opposite reason. I want to add the parsed feeds to my site. hehe..
I am not sure if you will find what you are looking for, but here is a good list of options.
List of XML Parsers @ XML.com (http://www.xml.com/pub/rg/94)
Hope this helps, and if you happen to find something easy, let me know. :)

I've got very little experience about coding but I came across this that might interest you: News Feeds (RSS) (http://www.ncl.ac.uk/ucs/webdev/rss/database.php)

Hey Seb
Not sure if it will help, but this (http://www.high-search-engine-ranking.com/javascript.htm) is the javascript I use to deliver my feed to webmasters.

Thanks kal yes it is a script equivalent to feedroll, so dependent from a 3rd party server.
I just found php and asp librairies here for those interested :
