You are certainly better off to have a text ad on a web site and not a banner ad. First off, no one would want a big ol banner on their page, and second, a text ad would give you more clicks and sites would be more willing.

You got that right! I've been in the businees years and banner ads are about as effective as spamming a search engine - just about a waste of time (almost).

That's one reason why we're running link exchange banners at the top.

Hopefully I made myself clear about the offer. I am willing to give away an approximate 200 character text link for 6 keywords or phrases to (someone) in return for a 468 x 60 on a homepage or secondary.

One last note on banners: I'm only trading for a banner position because if so universal; if you have something else to trade - I'm willing to listen.
