my msn just stoped workin and it works on other pcs i tryed other pcs and on my pc it say wornge password or e mail adress and it do not let me in any thing that has hotmail like hotmail.com
and all of this is right :
1. Your computer may have third-party firewall software, such as ZoneAlarm, which prevents your computer from connecting to MSN Messenger servers. Please make sure that the firewall software is set to allow MSN Messenger to operate. For information on how to do this, please consult the firewall software manufacturer.
2. Your computer may not have the latest version of Microsoft Internet Explorer (version 6 SP1). The latest version of MSN Messenger makes use of the new security features incorporated in Microsoft Internet Explorer. For the best experience when using MSN Messenger, please install or update Internet Explorer to the latest version. Do this even if you are not using Internet Explorer as your default Internet browser.
2.1. To check if you have the latest Internet Explorer, please:
2.1.a. Start Internet Explorer.
2.1.b. Click on “Help”.
2.1.c. Click “About Internet Explorer”.
2.1.d. Look at the version number located beneath the “Microsoft Internet Explorer” logo. The version should be (Version: 6.0.2800.1106; Update version: SP1).
2.2. If you do not have the latest Internet Explorer, you can download this for free by:
2.2.a. Go to http://microsoft.com/windows/ie/.
2.2.b. Click “Download now”.
3. Your Internet Explorer's security settings may be set too high, preventing your computer from connecting to MSN Messenger servers. To lower these settings, please:
3.1. Start Internet Explorer.
3.2. Click “Tools”.
3.3. Click “Internet Options”.
3.4. Click “Advanced” tab.
3.5. Go to “Security” section.
3.6. Make sure “Check for server certificate revocation (requires restart)” is not checked. If it is, click on the box to uncheck it.
3.7. Make sure “Use SSL 2.0” and “Use SSL 3.0” are checked. If it is not, click on the boxes to check it.
3.8. Click “OK” to end.
4. Your computer’s proxy settings may be incorrect. Proxy settings allow your computer to communicate with the Internet. Please contact your Internet Service Provider (ISP) or your network administrator for the correct proxy server and port numbers.
4.1. If you have the proxy server and port numbers, please:
4.1.a. Start Internet Explorer.
4.1.b. Click “Tools”.
4.1.c. Click “Internet Options”.
4.1.d. Click “Connections” tab.
4.1.e. Click “LAN Settings”.
4.1.f. Make sure “Automatically detect settings” is not checked. If it is, click on the box to uncheck it.
4.1.g. Make sure “Use a proxy server for your LAN …” is checked. If it is not, click on the box to check it.
4.1.h. Type the proxy server number on the box beside “Address:”.
4.1.i. Type the port number on the box beside “Port:”.
4.1.j. Click “OK”.
4.1.k. Click “OK” again to end.
4.2. If your Internet connection does not require you to connect via a proxy server, it is recommended that you clear out this setting in the “Connections” tab of MSN Messenger. To do so, please:
4.2.a. Start MSN Messenger.
4.2.b. Go to “Tools”.
4.2.c. Click “Options”.
4.2.d. Go to “Connection” tab.
4.2.e. Make sure "I use a proxy server" is not checked. If it is, click on the box to uncheck

5. If you received an "invalid" or "unrecognized" user name or password error message, make sure you sign in to MSN Messenger using the user name and password you registered with Microsoft NET Passport. In the meantime, please sign in manually by:
5.1. Start MSN Messenger.
5.2. Click "To sign in with a different account, click here" under the “Sign In” button,

Click “File”, then click “Sign In”.
5.3. Type the e-mail address and password you registered with Microsoft .NET Passport in their respective boxes. E-mail address should be complete .
5.4. Click “OK” to sign in.
