My paid inclusion alta vista urls will expire today. I'll be able to answer the question without a doubt as to whether they drop you out of the index if you don't renew....as there is no way in hell I am renewing these.

I've decided not to renew, although the traffic from A/V was improving. My decision was more based on their association with a SEO who emails my clients. :mad:

I take it infoSpider bypassed you and emailed your clients directly :steaming: - is this the case? I am putting together some packages for a client to onsell at the moment and have been tossing up whether to include a basic submit to AV rather than an Express Inclusion. Your comments are pushing me towards the basic.

Any thoughts you could give me on infoSpider and the program would be most welcome.

Oh and FWIW, I have also noticed traffic increases to a number of my clients sites from AV this past month.

Hi Sanity - well I received emails for IS's SEO service that came in via the email addresses I supplied during AV Indexing submission. So if I had supplied my client's email address, I have reason to believe they would've emailed my client directly. That's enough reason for me to avoid the service in future!

I am still going to offer the info on the InfoSpider service via my site for clients as I think they should know all the options open to them. I will also submit my client sites to them if they want that, but I will not use it to promote my own sites and I certainly won't be <spelling edit> recommending </spelling edit> it.
