I ran a test about 3 months ago at ePilot that failed miserably. They ate through my clicks with out a single conversion. So I filed them away thinking I may test again in a year or so.

Yesterday, I received a cold call from them. The sales person did not know I was already a customer. I explained my test and how pitiful they did. He claimed in the past month or so they have added the ability to filter traffic using only the "Primary Results". He explained this would allow us to only receive traffic from their primary partners.

We have a dedicated sales rep; I asked him to have her give me a call to explain further. Once I find out more. I will let you all know.

Remember... He's a salesman. His job is to sell. His job is to tell you anything and everything that he can to make a sale. Was it a cold call? Or were they just going through an inactive subscriber list? Did he furnish you with a list of their primary partners? Read the other treads on this forum about PPC fraud. There is no way to prevent this. You might be able to reduce it some. But the only way to elminate it completely is to NOT to use it.

Oh ... I know about the problems with them.

This is why I asked for a call from "My" rep. To dig into things a bit deeper. Yes he's a sales person which is why I wanted to speak with someone else, but if they do have this new capability, and can filter out all the "crap" traffic. Then it just might be worth another test.

Back in the days before the fraud was so bad, they did fairly well for us.

Chances are, your rep probably gets a little slice of pie too! ;)
