In this article, what are your thoughts regarding this
Stripping/Hiding unnecessary page elements
Is this appropriate to use the method discussed since it would be "hiding" something?
Also, do you agree with what is said in the article about SEO?

hmm. I agreed with most points made until he mentioned hiding an image tag claiming that they get in the way of spiders. That's not true at all. No need to go to that extreme. It's also risky in that a competitor might think you are hiding links and report you, etc. It would be very risky for no benefit imo.

Yeah, his point was that a robot gets stumbled by images. That's bogus info, so hiding an image because of that is a waste of time.
