I want to know how many forum members will be attending the Search Engine Strategies Conference in Boston on March 4-5?

3 of us are on different discussion panels and will be speaking on different topics. A chance for you to see us and a chance for us to see you. :)

Alan Perkins, Jill (webwhiz), and myself are all on panels.

I want a show of hands of who is attending? Well, at least post if you are attending. :) I'd like to see other forum members there please.

Here is the link for the agenda:

Dougie, you have the dates wrong, it's March 4th and 5th. When will you be arriving, and how long will you be staying?

Did Alan definitely confirm?

We need to get MazY to come, but I doubt he will. I think he has America fever and is too afraid...

Will have to see him when we go to London!

OK, I am definitely going to SES in Boston. The link you have posted Doug says the website says it's the 3rd & 4th. But in this thread you have it posted as the 4th & 5th. So what are the correct dates?

I don't want to get there late and miss anything! :)

All I know is that the 4th is a Monday, so I assume the dates are the 4th and 5th.

Yeah Doug, I just saw that. My mistake. The dates here are correct. :)

I'll be there. I got the boss to spring for both days again. Last years was so much more than I expected that I can't wait to see how it goes this year. Jill, I'll have to introduce myself when I see you my fellow Bay Stater. It helps that this is only 2hrs from home for me.

That's great, Cave! You were in Dallas too? I look forward to meeting you.

I went to school at UMASS, so I'm somewhat familiar with Northampton. Been a LONG time since I've been back there, though!

I wish my boss would pay for me to go, but I doubt he'd pay for me to go London (which is 1 hour away), so the States is out of the question.

Hey guys - i'd love to go to this one but i'm having a hard convincing the bosses that it will be substantially different than the august conference in san fran, which i attended.

any suggestions? in your worthy opinions, is it worth it to attend more than one SES a year?

I did not go to the last one so do not know. It looks like there are a few more different sessions this time. Also, Alan, Jill, and myself from here are all on panel discussions, so that is one reason to go. :)

Sonora, they do have a lot of the same sessions each time, but they also add a lot of new stuff too. Since there's so much going on at once, I imagine that it's still worth it to go again. I do know many people that hit them each time. Of course, if you go to the same sessions, they won't change all that much, so it all depends on if there's enough stuff going on this time that you haven't already been to, and that you're interested in.

Back up a bit, guys. Boston I don't care about, but if Maz is gonna be in London, I might shell out the sheckels to attend. Nah, I won't, but I must meet up with some of you if you are in town. I live about 1 hr south from Central London. PM me if you wanna meet up for a beer, a cigar and a chat. I promise I won't divulge any of what goes on to anyone except your nearest and dearest and the entire World Wide Web. How's that for discretion ?
