What's a decent CTR for a PPC campaign on Overture and Google AdWords? I'd like to know so I'll have an idea of how my PPC campaigns are performing. TIA!

I would't worry too much about the CTR. It can really vary from 0.5% to 100%.

What you should be focusing on is how much each keyphrase is costing in terms of sales or enquiries - in other words what your ROI is.

I agree that ROI is the most important metric to watch, but assuming that the ROI is acceptable, you can always look for ways to improve CTR (and thus profits). I'm finding the CTR is higher for lower traffic, highly targeted terms (~8-30%) and lower for higher traffic, more generic terms (1-3%).

Of course, there are many variables to the equation including your ad copy, the applicability of terms to commercial, academic or other pursuits, competition from other ads, etc. Comparing CTR can never really be apples to apples IMO.
