Hi everyone (and g'day!),

Just wanted to pass on a couple brand-new URLs for these Zeal directories...

Australia: http://au.zeal.com/
Canada: http://ca.zeal.com/

These are the community components of LookSmart AU and CA, so non-commercial sites/categories added to them will appear on those two LS networks. The basic structure's pretty much the same as www.zeal.com, but obviously the contents (& spellings!) are a lot different.

Anyway, hope these are useful to the Australian and Canadian forum members (or anyone else, fer that matter).

You cannot submit non-commercial UK sites thru Zeal but you can search for them on Zeal...

Hopefully surfcat will be able to tell us when the UK directory will be available...I can't imagine Zeal not building a UK directory...

To answer those very astute questions about a possible Zeal UK - wish I had details for you, but at this point there's just not a definite timeframe for it. That doesn't mean it's not happening...just that I wouldn't hold my breath for it (yet).

How's that for a helpful answer? :D

In the meantime, tho', it's certainly possible to submit UK sites to relevant categories that are open to community participation...for instance, this one (http://www.zeal.com/category/manage.jhtml?cid=566889).

So, that's where things stand right now...when there are new developments on this front I'll be sure to pass 'em on.
