Looksmart PageRank

hey all, I had not noticed before that the Looksmart home page has a PR of 8 and lots of other pages have Pr's of 7 or 8. Has this always been the case?

I see looksmart as having a PR of 9....

anyway, i do not remember them having a PR previously (i also don't pay attention to it most of the time) but Looksmart used to have a robots.txt file that would disallow numerous spiders from spidering their site....which was probably the reason they previously had no PR...

Yes. I remember previously the PR was grayed out. They must have made some changes.

they are constantly updating their robots.txt file...that may have had an affect on PR.
