Froogle reading GMail cookies?

Froogle seems to be reading gmail cookies because I now see my gmail address at the top right followed by 'My Shopping List' and 'Sign Out'. 'My Shopping List' seems to be linked to my Google account.

I am going to Froogle after a-g-e-s. Is this something new?
