He is cute as anything. I may have to play hard-nosed sales manager all day but I am a real sucker for cute. Thanks for posting that MC. :)

Ya can't say:

Merry Christmas

anymore in the US. It seems to be against the ACLU's civil rights or some darn thing.

and as we don't know anything about civil rights - it doesn't apply to me!

And now - for the crescendo!!!

Isn't that the truth! My daughter found that she has two copies of a Golden Series story book called 'The Christmas Story' - one of which is like brand new and does not have her name written on it. She's been so excited about this book as she discovered that a little baby called Jesus was born in a manger and his birth is celebrated as Christmas. She also figured out that it was non-fiction. She wanted to donate it to her class library and took it with her to school the next day. It came right back because the teacher told her that "we don't talk about church in school."

I apologized to the teacher about putting her on the spot. What else could I do? I thought the book explained what Christmas was very well. She said that they had to play it really safe cos there's no telling when a parent might object. The kids really don't know what religion means or what the difference between church, synagogue, mosque, temple or any other place of worship is. The teacher said they referred to the season as 'The Holidays' and that Christmas was explained as one of the ways that some people celebrated.

To me, 'holiday' meant a day off from work or from school. Holidays were what we had between school terms and college semesters. I had to re-learn how to use the word holiday once we got here.

Yesterday my daughter came home with a sheet explaining the details about Kwanzaa. I don't get it. I want my daughter to know, understand, respect and participate in as many cultural and religious events as possible. Oh well!

We still say Merry Christmas.

Oh, I know.

This country was founded on religion. We are suppose to be "all-encompassing". It's amazing what some out there are trying to do right now.

Merry Christmas Everyone!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I say Merry Christmas too. And religion has nothing to do with it ... at least "organized" religion.

Freedom was what this country was founded on!

Nice logo designs.

I like the Joeant's. it has a kind of cool look, and the design is not dominating the brand name..
