Hey everyone!
I've a few questions on submitting to GoGuides. Thanks in advance for any advice and answers.
1. Has anyone done the "2 express submissions and you get unlimited number of sites you can submit" deal? I'm wondering if there is a time limit or such on it.
Like can I submit a site today and then one tomorrow and still get free submits for the next year?
2. Do the veterans prefer to do the Express Submit where you can customize your listing but risk getting rejected OR do you prefer to use the Easy Submit where they do your description and they promise your listing won't get tampered with by non-staff (another fishy ploy to get me to pay more?)?
So the question is, do the veterans prefer the Express or Easy submit for goguides? (why would be nice too!)
3. The Logo by Eden. What is that? It seems like someone has an "in" with GoGuides and is getting ranking/traffic from being linekd there. It seems fishy. What is that?
I'm just a guy trying to learn from the pros!
Thanks for help!

Hi Keyword. I’ll try to answer all your questions.1. Has anyone done the "2 express submissions and you get unlimited number of sites you can submit" deal? I'm wondering if there is a time limit or such on it. Like can I submit a site today and then one tomorrow and still get free submits for the next year?
GoGuides Directory offers two submission types to the public - Easy Submit & Express Submit.
Express Submit is for the review of one url. You find the topic, write the title, description, and keywords. You pay for a single review and there is no guarantee the submission will be listed. More important the fee is nonrefundable regardless if the submission is included or not.
Easy Submit. Cost a little more but you only have to submit your email address and url. If your website is not listed you will receive a full refund. This option is very popular for those people that are not sure if their website meets submission guidelines are if they simply don’t have the time to learn all our submission rules.
2. Do the veterans prefer to do the Express Submit where you can customize your listing but risk getting rejected OR do you prefer to use the Easy Submit where they do your description and they promise your listing won't get tampered with by non-staff (another fishy ploy to get me to pay more?)?
Again, express submit is nonrefundable and easy submit is 100% refundable and processed in 12 hour.
So the question is, do the veterans prefer the Express or Easy submit for goguides? (why would be nice too!)
Most veterans become Submission Specialist because they can list a set number of websites in the directory each month for a flat fee. This program separates the editors from Submission Specialist that make a living developing and adding clients websites. In other words this program brings balance in the directory because staff monitors the Submission Specialist and editors don‘t have to worry about listing appearing in their topics.
3. The Logo by Eden. What is that? It seems like someone has an "in" with GoGuides and is getting ranking/traffic from being linekd there. It seems fishy. What is that?
GoGuides had a contest some time back for a new logo and the winner won a footer link in all topics in the directory. Eden’s team won the prize - the contest was open to all editors.
Hope that helps.

zag, thanks for taking the time!
I really appreciate it!
I'm still confused about the part where
they say,
Make two express submissions and you will receive a credit for *$159.96 with no limit on the number of sites you can submit.
It's on the express submit page:
http://www.goguides.org/DIR/add_url.php?c=6189
I'm wondering what exactly "no limit on number of sites submit" means.

For ever $39.99 submission you make at goguides you get a credit for $79.98 at Links2go Pay-Per-Click search engine. There is no limit to the credits you can receive. For example submit 10 at $39.99 and you would receive a credit at Links2go for $799.80. That's what the no limit is talking about. No cap on the credits you can receive.
