We run a free monthly one, currently has about 14,000 members. It is well worth the 4 hours per month it takes in time to write it.

We've had one before, and I let it lag.

We're working on restarting it, via the service provided at Bravenet at first, and then expand into something that handles more people if needed.

When we did have one in the past, we had around 600 subscribers and it worked pretty well, so I'm hoping to get similar results again.
