Not quite sure what happened with this one. Anyone care to elaborate on this error?

It appears that some smilies are being interperted incorrectly...I think it may have to do with the colon pee ( : P) I tried to use the padre simile (on next page), but the code is : padre : which is only reading the : P and displaying the default simile for that.
(not sure if all the code will come accross correctly, let me know if you need more).

Cool, did you just fix it...or did I just not test it again before I posted? I have some quiet time...so I thought I'd do some testing! :umbre:
LOL!~ I see you just fixed it...very smart...just change the code from padre to umbre!

No...I got it Doug...I notice you had umbre...but I had tried padre..without realizing the name (code) was changed! (sorry, programming nature to just type in the code)
I think I may have another for you too...
This has to do with the edit feature...but it may be in the design.
I did an edit on my post (regular), but the post did not reflect the edit. However, upon the second edit the modified message does appear.

check on more thing....is this it?
Well, I thought it might be related to editing the post back-to-back...but I'm not sure...I may test this some more. But I really haven't been able to determine when the edited date is added to a post...
(sorry I was saying modified, but meant edited)

I believe if you edit the post quick enough the date will not show up and you cannot tell that the post was edited.
If it is a few minutes later, then the date and time of the edit will show up.

Thanks Doug...I should have realized it was a flaw in my test plan
Sure is muggy here in the Midlands tonight....it must be affecting my brain as all the thoughts are sticking together!~
