Can someone explain...how a site goes from top 20 to 184? This site is not in Google yet can this be ONE problem...Since from what we are seeing the effect google is having on Yahoo's also...

The rest of the top 20 seems to be the same..Very very strange update

No idea about that. I have long since quit trying to figure out how Yahoo presents their SERPS. When I see an ebook thing as listed #1 for a search term, and know what they did to get there, it boggles the mind as to the 'why' of it all.

I still go with the whole Google theory...Your in Yahoos listings...once updated if you are not in google donw you go....

I too believe your Google SERPs have something to do with your placement in Yahoo's SERPs. I don't know if it's as simple as Yahoo using a variation of Google's PR algo or something more complex and devious! lol But I do think there's something going on.

Just my theory.

Hey Opt,
was your site recently added to yahoo? If yes, then this is a normal process. It'll be back in 15 to 20 days. Beleive me ;)

The site was fairly new....and I know this is a common practice with yahoo but never seen it so dramatic...usually go down to like 30-40 ...

Still want to nail this whole yahoo and google thing though....
