Hi net6 and welcome. :hi:

Like Doug I disagree with several of your points.

7. Home Page Link Exchange : Home page link exchange is the good way to get more traffic and PR.
No. A good way to get your site and your partners sites banned.
10. Blogs : Add a blog to your site and Ping weblogs.com and other search engines. Pinging your blogs to the search engines is the fastest way to get the search engine robots to visit your blog and attract new visitors to your web site.
No. Blogs are suppose to be if you have good content to give to your visitors. Nothing more than that.
5. Link Exchange : Exchange Links with other websites will not only increase your traffic but also increase page rank on Search Engines and that will ultimate good listings in the major search engines like google, MSN or yahoo.
NO. Only link to a site if you feel that link "helps your visitors". Nothing more than that.
1. Free Classified Sites : Place ads in free classified sites and you can receive traffic instantly. You should try to place atleast 10 free responsive classifieds with appropriate category. One excellent resource is Craigslist, a free online community which has expanded into many different cities.
A big NO. Classified ad sites are soooo 1999'ish and do you absolutely ZERO good.

Many of these so-called "tips" will get you a big fat penalty now from Google.

8. Business Cards : If you plan to have anything printed up, put your web address on it. You can print your URL on business cards, stickers, leaflets, etc.I love this one; it's obviously common sense to promote the clicks side of the business on the mortar side. But always the mention of business cards, which will probably net some 4 - 5 visitors per year.

The fella who first included that in his 1997 spam email must laugh every time he reads it (13 times a day - much more than he sees visitors from his business cards).

Taken together, all this advice will increase visitor numbers - but few of them will stay or convert, most will swear never to call again. The sort of game tripod users play to nudge up the 'hits' counter.

And the price for all those unhelpful, unhappy visitors? An odds-on chance of a Google ban.

...Creating a website is not enough to guarantee your success on the Net...

No, a website is not going to get you business. Neither will most of the points mentioned. I'm still surprised that most people think that once they upload an "optimized" site, business will roll in. Then, when nothing occurs, they say "what happened?" The mentality of promotion on the internet has to change. Bottom line, to build a presence on the web (and that takes more than just a website), you have to implement a strategic marketing plan. As they say, "those that fail to plan, plan to fail".

I deleted your last ad in here as well. (net6pay) If you are going to come in here to advertise only, we don't want you.

You must have not read any of our posts in here either as you wrote about the same stupid crap as before. How many times do we have to say this?

A big NO. Classified ad sites are soooo 1999'ish and do you absolutely ZERO good.
But yet you keep posting the same drivel. Enough already.

I hate spammers.
