I submitted my site to WebSavvy (history category). Then I checked its status and found it was safely received and awaiting review. Now the status is given as "does not exist in our database." I take it that means the site was rejected?

Could that be because I do not have my own domain? (It is hosted by my ISP.)

PM me the name of your site and I'll find out whether it was declined or not.

Editors always state the reason for declining a site, so I'd know that too.

Based on the category, the submission time frame, and the "hosted on your isp" -- info; I've located what may be your site.

Currently it's in the assigned Editors Queue for that category.

I've made some changes to the status check. In order to check a domain status, the URL must be entered into the form field, exactly as it was submitted to us.

So, if the site owner submits:

http://www.domain-name.tld/folder/file.html

That's what they'd be required to enter in order to know it's status.

Thanks for going to all that trouble. Now I put in my complete URL the status report is working for me once more.
