I sometimes find it interesting to analyse spam. I try to figure out how these people assume we think. Why do they think their message would work or what segment of the population it might work on and why.

This guys was blatant spam, with a "begging for help" theme. I am guessing he saw "I Help You" and thought this was a great target audience for his message ... lol

A reason for forum spam is the fact so many 'gurus' out there with affiliate programs actually teach people to find forums and spam them with their links. It's a teaching type thing among the "internet marketeers" communities.

Many forums out there actually allow this type of spam to go on and have individual forums set up to accept these advertisements.
