I do welcome you boseephus!
But this forum does not allow blatant ads or spam of which your post is.
I am leaving this post for awhile to tell new users what NOT to do. I am very tolerable as you can have a signature with posts but NOT to post ads.

Hi Doug :)
Sounds like sound fair advise to me. A lot of difference in someone saying 'hey I just completed a total re-vamp of my web site, why not have a quick look url xxxxx'
I think a full scale add about something free is a bit over the top.
Never the less Hi boseephus, the stage is set now and you know.
Bye..

...Well, and everyone else too.
I think AUS-CITY's comment on 'hey I just completed a total re-vamp of my web site, why not have a quick look url xxxxx' is a great idea.
Doug, could you add a forum for just this purpose? With the specification that us members could post a URL that we want everyone else to look at to give their comments on what we did right and wrong and any suggestions concerning how we optimized for the search engines?
Maybe under "Miscellaneous Search Engine Information" - sub-topic- "Post Your URL" - description- "A place for members to post a URL so that other members can critique the SEO techniques" or something like that.

We already have that.
As long as you are asking a specific question, you can post your question in the forum it pertains to.
If meta tags, if content, if anything.
I have not started a "site critique" yet and not sure if I want to as I want this to be more of a search engine forum.
When asking a specific question, you can post the Url you are referring to. I just do not want the question like an ad.

Blue , that may not be a bad idea. Doug ?

My idea, though I think I stated it ineffectively, was to have the section specifically for an "SEO Critique" on any posted URL -vs- a general site critique (and you could plainly state this in the description).
However, I can see that there are pro's and con's to this idea, Doug, and I would certainly understand if you decided against it (besides, you already are doing us all a great service just by hosting these forums for us, and I thank you for that).
If the forums members were to use this section scrupulously, it may well be of benefit ot us all.

Yes, I understand. My reasons are that I wish for you all to learn. If I or someone else actually tells you specifically what you need to do, you are not learning.
Post specific questions in the appropriate forum for the questions and we will answer that question. I just do not want to post all there is to do with a site.
For one thing, that would take a HUGE post. Every site is different in what they need.
By reading the posts and by answering questions pertaining to that forum, we will all learn.
Every site is different in the ways they should optimize. There is no one way that pertains to all.

Good. Besides, even if I or anyone else tried to post ALL there is for your site to be optimized, there would not be enough time in only one day. :)
Not only that, but you would have no reason to come back if I fully optimized your site for you. :D
This way you can learn.
Also, I would be out of business. ;)
and do not have a desire to tell anyone all of my secrets.
