A class action lawsuit was filed 3-4 years ago involving 1300 people who received faxes from an advertising agency for Hooters.

They won 12 million dollars from this.

wow.

Maybe these marketing agencies will take notice now.

yea, heard this on MSNBC yesterday. Now they are appealing to a higher court about it.

This could affect other ways of marketing including reg. mail, email, phone, etc.
