Dear Overture™ Advertiser:
In January Overture announced a test to provide search listings on MSN.com. We're pleased to let you know this test was a success for our advertisers, for Overture and MSN. As a result, the MSN agreement has been extended through 2003. We will continue to provide search listings on the Microsoft Internet Explorer search pane.

Overture's first three search listings for selected terms (shown in the example below) are found in a section called "Sponsored Sites" when users conduct a search at www.msn.com.

The expansion of the MSN agreement presents an exciting opportunity for you to receive even more targeted leads from Overture. To maximize the number of leads you receive from this agreement with MSN, make sure you're in Premium Listings™ (the top three positions) and that your account stays online. To deposit additional funds or increase your payment plan charge amount, please contact our Platinum Club consultants at 1-866-255-0109.

We hope the expansion of this agreement will bring additional success to your business.

Sincerely,

Timothy Ford, Senior Director, Client Services
Theresa Daniels, Manager, Account Development

That is fine. From talking to a few clients who are using O, I am told the top spots are starting to get ignored by users more and more as they get to know what those listings actually are. It was only a matter of time.
