Hi everyone,
I am trying to promote a consumer site for a pharmaceutical company that sells creams etc. for thrush, athlete's foot, sweat rash etc. The company is quite large and the site is information based with product types and info included but nowhere to buy, they want the consumer to go to the shop and buy.
They have asked me to look into press releases to help to site.
I might be being really stupid here but I cannot see how this would work. Do they mean like a newsletter? Who would receive them - corporations or consumers? What would it include? I know what normal business press releases say but this isn't the same sort of site. I feel like this is a bit of web promotion that I am not aware of and should be.
Any ideas or comments are greatly appreciated. I don't even know where to begin.
