Not discussing the relevancy of a competing client is a simple
way of allowing listings that shouldn't be there. Clearly there is
no way to appeal, making you the judge and the jury.

I've tried every angle and spent way too much time and money
competing against listings that don't follow your guidelines.

I guess the best way to make my point is to stop adding funds to my
account and spread the word that you don't care about:

Whether a listing is relevant as long as you get your money

Good luck on your lawsuit with Mark Nutritionals. I'm sure it
won't be the last.

Yes. I certainly agree Overture needs to address many things. I also know they are re-modeling their current model and trying to find a new way of doing business with having to bow down to the desires of their big partners. They are catching it from all sides now.

I do think they are trying to 'weed' out the irrelevant sites and the old listings to bring them up to the standards they are looking for. Until this long process is complete, there will be redirects, irrelevant listings, and a whole host of paid ads that do not meet the current requirements.

I also agree that more lawsuits will come. I don't know what is going to happen with it all, but it sure will be interesting.

For now, all anyone can do is sit back and wait out the mess, or drop Overture. IMO, no amount of emails or anything is going to help right now. I have heard that direct phone calls are the best bet but I would imagine that the phone lines are very busy and the emails are not being read for awhile as when you send one, you are at the bottom of a long list of complaints.

I guess the best way to make my point is to stop adding funds to my accountIn the words of the late Sam Walton (founder of WalMart) on money: "There is only one boss, the customer. And he can fire everybody in the company, from the chairman on down, simply by spending his money somewhere else. "I think consumers AND advertisers are tiring of all the spam. I have noticed a very sharp decrease in the number of paid advertisers on Overture for the kws I still monitor/click on.
