Spikes in CPL?

Anyone noticing strange spikes in their cost per lead this month? A once consistent Goto, err, Overture, err Yahoo Search Marketing platform has turned very erratic. We're going to give it another week to see if it settles down, but things seem "off".

I've heard it's always been that way. Afterall; Yahoo is the one who offers a "pay for inclusion" which is something that yields very little benefit.

It's been strangely consistent for us. Now that they're slowly losing search partners I wonder what they're up to... MSN breaks away in 2006, desparate times call for desparate measures.

I quite using Overture over a year ago for the very reason you are describing now.
