When did Overture go strictly 100% paid listings? I suppose they think that if they remove the quality free links, people will be forced to click on their spam links.

Well, I'll be...you're right! Very interesting. Thanks for bringing that to our attention bigD. It seems like just the other day Doug and I were discussing how we rank high in Overture without even paying. Guess those days are gone now! And since neither of us are gonna pay Overture a cent (or 5) I guess it's so long for good.

I am still seeing free listings and also checked by anonymizer, just in case it was a regional thing.

Can you give me a search term, where you are not seeing the free listing, please.

Apparently the free listings are showing again. But last night, ALL free listings disappeared for a period of time. Maybe it was just an Overture glitch, or maybe its a precusor of what's to come.

ok thanks, I don't think from what I can see that they will chop the free listings as there just not enough paid for results returned on most non super competing search terms.

It was a temporary glitch. We have seen it happen from time to time. I don't think those results are going anywhere.

I have seen this happen before, it may be mid update of either GoTo.... oops I mean Overcharge and INK result sets
