I'm still not sure whether I should be happy.
Overture gave me a credit of $50 to my account.

I had repeatedly asked for them to do something about a premium listing that was not relevant. My last email
explained that I would no longer be adverstising.

This got a response. They called me.

I told them I would use the $50 to see if things
improved. Currently, the listing I have a problem with
is still there, but they assured me they were taking
care of it.

Strangely, they are extremely careful not to discuss
another account, meaning that they would not acknowledge
there was a problem with another account. At the
same time they were expediting the review by the
"relevancy team" to correct the problem of the
person's account that we can't discuss.

They explained that sometimes sites run seasonal
specials and when the specials expire they don't always
remove the listing themselves. I took that a step furthur
and told them that it seems clear that it is far too easy to:
1. Optimize for review
2. Get reviewed
3. Completely change the webpage.
They said it isn't as easy as that and that they don't always
"just remove" an advertisers listing, because they have
a somewhat lengthy process they follow.

I said, "That means that the only people who are getting
penalized are the other sites that following the rules"
during this "somewaht lengthy process."

I guess I now have $50 to spend. Wish me luck.

Good deal David!

It's very obvious they have some major problems to work out.
