hi chris
Next time i will put the thread over there.
For now, about the web page , basically i have made a vb application and there , i have used a recordset. The records are stored in simple table format inside an MS Access database. i just wanna put that application on my web page do i need to store that database at the server?? or is there any possibility to store the data coming from the web on my local machine??
Please Suggest.
Thank You
Max

Unless the application is written as an ISAPI executable, in a DLL and designed to run in the context of a webserver, you can't.
You cannot use MS Access databases remotely. The mdb will have to be on the webserver or in a location where it can be accessed using a mapped drive letter or a UNC reference (\\server\sharename\folder\filename.mdb).
