Hello,

I've recently updated my website, taken out everything that wasn't search engine friendly, and basically designed with CSS. My problem is that when viewing cached pages in Google, I find that the Google header crushes my page so that it cannot be read easily. Is there a way of "fixing" the page so that this doesn't happen?

My home page is http://www.wellwrittenwords.com

This is the cached page:

http://66.249.93.104/search?sourceid=navclient&ie=UTF-8&rls=GGLD,GGLD:2005-08,GGLD:en&q=cache:http%3A%2F%2Fwww.wellwrittenwords.com%2F

Thanks in advance.

Welcome to IHY skinner :hi:

Why bother, You are probably the only person who will ever look at the cached version.

but at a guess your header is positioned relative and the rest of the page absolute.

Ah, OK. That makes sense. Thanks Chris. I'm sorry but I'm a perfectionist, and such things keep me up at night. Sad I know. :)

Thanks again. I'm off to do some tweaking.
