Strange - having studied Yahoo's results, they appear to have two different algorhythms for creating the 'Web Site' results (not the 'web page' matches).
For one search term I studied, it pretty much has exactly the same results as Google (except a very slight variation), so must use their results in some way. Seemed to be very clear.
For another search it was clearly using the 'Title, description' method of page ranking (and the results were a lot less accurate for it I may add).
Why do you think they are using the Google algo for some search terms and not others?? (btw they were both quite popular keyphrases) Do you think they are testing it until moving over to use it in all results??
