Are GoGuides listings crawled by Google?

Looks like they have a few in Google (http://www.google.com/search?q=+site:goguides.org++%2Bgoguides.org&hl=en&start=0&sa=N&filter=0). If you page through, there are quite a few category pages listed.

Yes.
Last time I checked, Google had indexed almost 15,000 pages. Try entering this search into Google:
site:www.goguides.org "www.goguides.org"
Just wondering, why do you ask? Linkpop?

Oops.
Should have refreshed and I would have seen that JuniorHarris answered.
In that case I second what he said.

The main reason I asked was because I have a couple of new sites an hoped maybe this would be a good way to make sure Google found them in addition to the ODP listing.
It sounds like he answer may be no, because only the categories are listed? or does it take that next step?

To be honest, I'm not sure. I'm not a Google guru but I do see that it does find sites listed in GoGuides.Org on the GoGuide pages.
For example the search of:
site:www.goguides.org "www.google.com"
found the Google listing. What that means I don't know.
Any thoughts?

It seems apparent that ODP is flooded sometimes and it would be nice to know there is a directory out there besides ODP that is free and definitely gets crawled by Google and has a dependable review process.
And to clarify:
If I were to submit widgets.com to goguides and nowhere else, would Google find and list widgets.com?

I'll test it. We'll find out in a month or two.

LOL~ tlpretender...at least you remembered to hit refresh!~;)
Looks like Google does find the Google link on GoGuides.org (http://www.google.com/search?as_q=google.com&num=10&btnG=Google+Search&as_epq=&as_oq=&as_eq=&lr=&as_ft=i&as_filetype=&as_qdr=all&as_occt=any&as_dt=i&as_sitesearch=goguides.org&safe=off), so it may very well apply as a backward link.

The categories in GoGuides have a url like this:
http://www.goguides.org/index.php?viewCat=8242
as compared to DMOZ
http://dmoz.org/Computers/Internet/Web_Design_and_Development/Authoring/Webmaster_Resources/Chats_and_Forums/
Where the page is a normal HTML one.
Does this "?" mark in the domain, somewhat affects the spider from crawling the page or specially passing the pageranks?

We have all 9 of the google crawl bots running around our servers every day treating it as a child's sand pit. ;)
Not sure how that ? mark in our url could affect things, but I'll find out and let you know.

I'm not sure about the ?. Either the ? or / can be used I believe, depending upon server software version.
GoGuides does have 14,900 pages listed.
Dmoz has 1,140 listed.

You all could implement the zlib patch for the php mod_rewrite script and get all the ?marks taken out of the Url's. Your pages would be all .html pages. Google would love them and so would all the other engines.
As it is though, it does not look like Google is having a problem with the Url's anyway.

We have upgraded from PHP 4.04 to 4.06 which allows our programmer to write out the ? , = etc to a / on the public side of the directory.
If anyone should notice a bug please let us know.
And I don't think that "?" mark was affecting anything with google showing around 15,000 listed URL's.
