My site is undergoing a facelift, and it is still using the old name. However, if I submit right now, LS editors will use the old name instead of the new one. What should I do?
Should I just pay the $199 before the deadline and ask for the change in site name and description afterwards?

It will cost you another $199 if you ask them to change it. This is a new fee they have developed. It seems they are looking for any reason to charge an arm and a leg.

I am not sure but because of this email I received back from them, I think you can change your title and description up to 30 from your order. The email is here:

So maybe you may be okay and submit now, then request a title change within 30 days.

Hey usbnuts!
How extensive is your facelift?
Seems to me that if you are making heavy changes including text and layout, you might be better off waiting....especially if these changes are going to increase your chances of better rankings (maybe due to something you've learned in these forums ? ;) ).
However, if I recall from your other posts, you seem to be doing pretty well (rank-wise) with the way your site is currently setup. So, if the changes are mostly cosmetic, yeah, I'd go ahead and submit now and ask for the name change later.
