Matt Cutt's made an announcement on his blog calling for papers (http://www.mattcutts.com/blog/call-for-papers-airweb-2006/) to be submitted for this years AirWeb Conference (http://airweb.cse.lehigh.edu/). It was the first I had heard of it so I went to take a look at the info on last years (the first) conference (http://airweb.cse.lehigh.edu/2005/).
I found a number of very interesting papers there. I have not read all of them, though I did an initial run through of the one on SpamRank .. :) I did find one I though I would share with all of you.
Web Spam Taxonomy (http://airweb.cse.lehigh.edu/2005/gyongyi.pdf) is an interesting look into what search spam is and how it is usually organized and deployed. Very interesting read.
Looking forward to seeing this years papers too.
