1.Analysis of your site’s current ranking capacity and search engine friendliness.
2.Keyword research, analysis and recommendations of most appropriate keywords.
3.Content feedback & recommendations for addition of content to your site.
4.Pre-optimization ranking report to view current status for short listed keywords.

Phase 2: Implementation and QC:
1.Formulation of implementation documents for each web page to be optimized.
2.Creation of different tags, content revisions, page additions, navigation enhancements, etc.

LOL... show them the rankings you already have, Dave ;)

Probably that's you who could offer them SEO services, not the other way round.

I've actually prepared a standard speech/email that way for my clients whenever I finish a site (although most of them are repeats so they already know the drill):

"Now that the site's done, within 6 weeks you'll begin to see emails from search engine optimization companies. These companies actually find you through search engines and claim that your rankings are poor...but since you don't do any offline advertising of your website (and most don't), consider that there is no other way for these companies to find you."

My only problem is that sometimes I'm off on the timeframe. Now it seems to be between 48 hours and two weeks. But at least this way, they're warned.

I actually called some idiot SEO out on WebProWorld and had him spinning BS like you cannot believe, but I can't find the thread. :( Ah well.

By the way, Dave, I've gotten the same email from the same company. I'm actually wondering about building a public site whereby people can report these idiots and we can use the power of numbers to force search engines to do something about it.

"WOW - must be doing something right if they're finding you so quickly!"

Don't even have to at that point. I always get this call: "you know how you said 6 weeks? You were wrong. It was 48 hours."

Ahh come on Dave, give the spammer a chance, maybe he knows something that can get you ranked for a week before being banned.... I am sure it is worth the mere thousands that he will ask for :p

Ahh come on Dave, give the spammer a chanceActually I did! I replied to the first one informing him that what he was doing was spamming and I would be sure to spread the word on his business practices. Then I got another copy of the same spam.

ROFL now that is a nice way of dealing with a complaint!

Can you imagine taking a burger you ordered up to the counter, telling them you ordered no mayo, and having them throw you another extra mayo burger?

These guys are only so brave because of their distance from their victims uh I mean "clients".
