I am thinking about using an Email Newsletter Service and I was wondering if anyone has had any experiences with this.
My first choice is Sparklist.com. There also constantcontact.com.I usually send a monthly newsletter to about 5,000 customers/month and I'm hoping a program like one of these will:
1. Save me time keeping my list clean (deleting duplicates and bounced addresses, retrying failed addresses)
2. Have a more professional look.

Hi! David
Since I have been doing targeted mailing for an exporter based in India I believe that services like constant contact fail to give desired results as the person who receives the mail feels its some kind of junk.
My feeling is that people like simple emails rather emails with lot of graphics but obviously its a tedious task doing all by yourself and keeping track of your customers but somehow the message gets lost in services like constant contact.

I use the newsletter for existing customers. I have already been emailing about 5000 names/month using Outlook and the results have been good.
It just takes so much time doing things like pasting all of the names, deleting bounced emails, and checking for dupes.
What I'm doing is working, but I want something that looks professional and takes care of some of the administrative tasks.

Anyone know how to get targeted opt-in lists? I would like to do a promotional email campaign for my business and need a good source of addresses.
Thanks!
