Promoting Secure Servers to SEs

Hello me again!

What are the implications for promoting a secure server site to search engines?

Basically we were expecting our database site to be on a secure server just on the payment page but the subcontractor have made the entire site on a secure server. Unfortuantely this particular company have proved to be quite slippery when passing the blame or pretending that these things don't matter but I'm sure there could be potential problems for SEs reading the site on the secure server.

One or two SE simulators are finding nothing whatsoever on our pages.
