The term is:
search engine services
Here are the results. Look at the Overture results on top:
http://search.msn.com/results.asp?RS=CHECKED&FORM=MSNH&v=1&q=search+engine+services
Two PPC Only companies and one who charges $99 bucks for a full year. LOL
That is what our industry is up against when a big engine like MSN shows the top 3 as something like this. BULL. How relevant are they? LOL
Here is the spin many PPC only companies are stating on their sites about how a TRUE SEO works:
Some companies in our field impose high set-up fees, submit your page to the search engines one time ... and then forget about you. If you complain to them about diminished traffic, they will gladly help you -- for another big fee ... and then forget about you again. {edited name}, on the other hand, charges a modest set-up fee because we earn most of our revenue from per-click charges. That means we have to keep helping your potential customers find your site, or we don't profit!
yeah bud, your client has to keep 'feeding' you the bucks otherwise your client will lose his/her ranks at the top of the bogus list. LOL
Us, on the other hand, work for LONG term ranks and keep at it for a one-time setup fee.
Oh, hey bud, submitting one time is usually ALL it takes bozo. LOL
